On Wednesday night, January the 14th The Delaware sector of EDIAFC had a phenomenal training course put on by Captain Michael Puglisi of the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department. The presentation was on initial response to the Potomac River mid-air collision on January 29th, 2025. (A company officers’ perspective).

Capt. Puglisi was able to secure the facilities for the presentation at University of Delaware- Trabant Center in Newark. The university graciously donated the facilities and some light refreshments for the attendees. This presentation had over 140 attendees from Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Conversation from the attendees said that this was a very informative and emotional presentation.
